Chris qualified from Peninsula Dental School in 2013 achieving his Bachelor of dental surgery with honours. On graduating he was awarded both the Deans Gold Medal Award and the Primary Dental Care Prize. Recognition of both his dedication and talent as a young dentist.

After qualifying and completing his dental foundation year, Chris worked as a Senior House Officer in the Maxillofacial department of Torbay Hospital. Here he was involved in caring for patients with complex health needs and built his experience performing oral surgery.

In 2015 Chris moved back to working in general dentistry in a Devon practice. He also took on part-time roles teaching students at Plymouth dental school and working within the Torbay Hospital Dental Department. It was through his experiences in these roles that Chris first found his passion for orthodontics. In 2023 Chris completed a 12 month course in ‘Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry’.

Chris previously divided his time between caring for his patients at Newton Abbot Dental and working in the Orthodontic Department at Torbay Hospital. He has since left Torbay Hospital to focus solely on Newton Abbot Dental. Chris provides both high quality general dentistry and orthodontic treatments. He is a fully accredited provider of Invisalign and Six-Month Smiles.

His patients love his infectious smile and relaxed, caring Northern manner. Chris always takes pride in his work and strives for perfection with all his patients.
In his spare time Chris enjoys keeping fit and spending time outdoors enjoying the beautiful scenery Devon has to offer. Chris enjoys going to the gym, skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing.
